Cabin Fever Maple Whisky

The Distillery

Cabin Fever is an 80 proof Maple Whisky that has dark rich tones and is incredibly smooth.

Creating a successful spirit and navigating an Industry that has many Billion Dollar competitors is not such an easy undertaking. The Robillard Family chose to solely focus on three things to ensure our product's success:

* Use only high quality ingredients

* Make a product that the American people wanted

* Never rush product development

The initial recipes of Cabin Fever were too sweet (yuck) and too weak (40 proof). We knew for ourselves that this was not going to do it. So over the course of three years, Rob, his wife, Melissa, his brother, John, and John's wife, Julie, had tried all different types of whiskeys / whiskys, Grades of Vermont Maple, and constantly tweaked the infusion process. By late 2007, the final chilled filtered, Grade B Vermont Maple recipe was clearly a masterpiece, and Cabin Fever was born.

Doubling sales each year validates that Cabin Fever has been warmly embraced by consumers. Our only means to build the brand has been grass roots marketing, a meager advertising budget, and a lot of sweat equity. Cabin Fever's growth is a credit to the legion of folks that have tried the product, embraced it, and spread the word that America has something to be proud of. No corporate bail outs here, no foreign investment takeovers; Cabin Fever is brought to you by a small, American family. With that, the Robillard Family invites you enjoy Cabin Fever Maple Whisky and Be Proud America, Your Spirit Has Arrived

The Robillard Family

Cabin Fever Maple Whisky was developed by a small, 3rd generation New England Family. Rob Robillard's little backyard project quickly grew into something so much more. Over the course of three years, Cabin Fever had countless recipe revisions and was subjected to endless Marketing Focus Groups. All this effort was put into trying to make a truly Authentic American Spirit. Well, truth be told, we called them Marketing Unfocussed Groups and we had plenty of tasting volunteers. The good news, however, is that we had the perseverance to make a world class Spirit that America can be proud of.

In the early part of the 2000's, Rob Robillard traveled extensively throughout the globe. Over that period of time Rob noticed how many regions had a specific type of Spirit that was associated with that region. You can easily identify Scotch with Scotland, Tequila with Mexico, and Bourbon with The South. That trend extends all the way down to such roots and fruits as Icelandic Moss. Now being a man of reason, Rob sensed immediately that a Maple Whisky was going to taste a whole heck of a lot better than one derived from Icelandic Moss. From that point forward, the Cabin Fever project was underway.
