Tucked away near the coastal village of Portsoy, nearly hidden from view, Glenglassaugh’s fine whisky was historically used in blending. Today it is judged by connoisseurs too noble a spirit for its outstanding character to be further concealed. First established in 1875, Glenglassaugh has always been produced by generations of skilled distillers. The site is honoured by time and favoured by nature for whisky production. Only tiny quantities of Glenglassaugh are available. Never actively ‘marketed’ this is a remarkable Highland single malt scotch whisky that is sought-out by those confident in their own judgement. Glenglassaugh is rationed by quantity not price alone. Independent in ownership and operation, Glenglassaugh understands and appreciates the needs of the whisky expert and connoisseur drinker as well as the seeker of truly exclusive super-premium experiences. What has been created is a spirit of uncompromising character and quality, handcrafted by a dedicated team who have real passion for their product.

A whisky matured for decades in oak casks, with a unique and brave character recognized and sought after by malt enthusiasts everywhere. This legendary distillery is now offering malt whisky connoisseurs the unique opportunity to enjoy a range of its aged sought after and highly rewarded whiskies which are produced on the windswept Moray Firth coast. Glenglassaugh Highland Malt Scotch Whisky is now available in three expressions, the limited edition 21 year old and the even rarer individual cask bottled 30 year old and 40 year old each with their own certificate of authentication. Only limited bottlings of Glenglassaugh are available. The whisky is not marketed through traditional means. Instead, it is available to order initially in very limited allocation.
