Domaine Delmas
Biological (organic) growing, seeks to develop the interactions between the vine, the ground and the climate by applying environmentally friendly methods.
Vineyards
Delmas vines are 20 years old on average and extend over twenty hectares distributed in the country of Antugnac. The types of vines: Chardonnay, Mauzac, Chenin and Pinot Noir are cultivated there respecting the subtle balance of vines and soil. In the High Valley soil, they profit from all the benefits of the Mediterranean climate smothered by the oceanic influences, the heights of the Pyrenees. The Antugnac vineyards are situated from 260 to 280 meters high, which has an influence on the grapes maturation. Grape harvesting usually begins there three weeks after the the other vineyards or at the discretion of the winemaker.

Winemaker
The pretty small village of Antugnac, which rises in amphitheatre on the southernmost slope of a hill, profits from an exceptional geographical situation. Bernard and Marlène Delmas have set up their wine farm at the heart of this cathare region in the middle of serublends, thyme, lavenders and oaks. With much passion and love to the region, this nature audois turned in 1986 to biological (organic) agriculture with the ambition to supply consumers with a top quality tasting product. Keeping this in mind, Mr & Mrs Delmas have applied the latest oenological advances to their production while maintaining the ancestral values of wine growing. This family property has experienced in a few years an amazing development, as far as the size of the vineyards and the range of wines produced.
