Winemaker
The vintners are Laurent Combier (Domaine Combier, Crozes Hermitage), Peter Fisher (Chateau Revelette, Aix en Provence) and Jean-Michel Gerin (Domaine Gerin, Cote-Roite). The priority of all great wine is to express in the bottle the climate, the soil and the viticultural practices... The unique COMPOSITION of slate and clays rich in iron oxide bring the wines their typical concentration, yet elegant and fresh. The influence of the nearby Mediterrannean combined with the coolness of the surrounding Montsaut mountains create a microclimate with cool nights and hot days. The Garnatxa and the Carinyena are the traditional VARIETIES that have stood for the typical expression of that wines for centuries. A small percentage of Syah has been planted as well. The 18 ha of vineyards are between 300 and 500m altitude.
